ARMHS
Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services
With ARMHS services, the ARMHS workers are not doing things for the client but facilitating and teaching clients to do for themselves.
ARMHS is designed to assist individuals struggling with mental illness. It is a skill-building and teaching service delivered when the associated symptoms and/or behaviors of the mental illness are interfering with the person's ability to accomplish her or his goals, and/or be more independent and successfully integrate into the community.
Qualified RSI staff members provide ARMHS services in a variety of ways, and services can take place in a variety of locations. Our staff consists of Mental Health Workers, Mental Health Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and a Licensed Mental Health Professional. ARMHS is provided on a one on one basis as well as additional group sessions. The clients we serve live in foster care homes, board & lodges, in their own homes or apartments, or are in the process of transitioning into less restrictive or more stable settings.
ARMHS staff members form close relationships with their clients. These relationships are based on trust and focused on increasing each client's level of functioning, life skills, and independence. Each client and his or her support network (such as family members, doctors, and case managers) is involved in the development and methodology of their individual service plan. The services we provide are based on each client's mental health needs and personal goals.
