Children and Families

RSI's compassionate and skilled staff provides supports to families and their children who have disabilities of all kinds. These services include:

• Personal Care Attendants (PCA)- who provide assistance with daily living activities and behavioral monitoring and supervision. PCAs can help clients in a variety of settings, including foster care, their own homes and apartments, and family homes.
• Behavior Aides- RSI provides compassionate and skilled staff to support families who are raising children with severe emotional disturbances, childhood behavioral disorders or mental illness.
• Respite- To support families who are raising children with disabilities, RSI offers respite services that give parents a break for a few hours to a few days at a time. Respite can be provided in or outside of the family home.
• In-Home Children and Family Supports- In-Home Support Services help mentor children and support families. Our staff mentor children, and help them learn daily life management skills. Mentors assist in learning a variety of skills including, but not limited to, behavior management, social skills, communication, coping mechanisms, mannerisms, healthy recreation, and independent living skills.
