ICF/MR (Intermediate Care Facilities)

RSI's Intermediate Care Facilities for Persons with Mental Retardation (and related conditions) serve individuals with complex disabilities, who need 24-hour awake support and specialized medical or behavioral services.

Staff to client ratios in the ICF/MR range from 1-to-1 to 1-to-3, depending on the need of the individual. Staff focus on high quality health care, community-integration, self-care, recreation, communication, and behavioral supports.

Specialized medical services are available including nursing and on-site physical and occupational therapy services. The home is wheelchair accessible and provides nursing staff daily to meet the complex health care needs of clients.

RSI's ICF/MR services are federally certified and licensed by the Minnesota Departments of Health and Human Services.

RSI services are paid for by state and federal funds, or can be paid privately.
