RSI offers a variety of supports to individuals who are residing in independent settings such as apartments, Board and Lodging Homes, Assisted Living Apartments, public housing and other private living settings. We offer these supports to children, adults, and families.

These supports are are directed toward empowering individuals to remain in the community or in their own homes, and are available throughout both Central Minnesota and all of St. Louis County, including Northern St. Louis County.

There are a variety of supports available including:

• Behavior Aides and Specialists: Supports are based on behavior modification and bettering skills to cope or manage emotional and behavior at risk.
• Crisis Services: RSI can meet with individuals needing supports as quickly as possible in attempt to get supportive services in place promptly.
• Homemaking Services: These services are focused on daily household tasks, meal preparation, shopping, and errands.
• Independent Living Skills Counseling: services that are focused on community living skills and community integration. Supports may include communication skills, socialization, community living.
• In-Home Family Supports: These supports are focused on supporting family systems.
• Personal Care Assistants: Personal care services include eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other household activities.
