Your Experience Matters To Us

RSI is committed to providing quality services. Our satisfaction survey is just one way that we gather feedback to help us assess and maintain the highest level of care possible.

The following summary is based on RSI's most recent survey results. The feedback below is reflective of our services in RSI's 27 supported living settings, in-home program and Bray Board and Lodge. The feedback below includes responses from both clients and their team members.

Survey Results

Surveys were received from 192 stakeholders. Stakeholders are primarily persons receiving services, family members, guardians and case managers. Survey questions addressed numerous areas, including staff responsiveness to ideas and concerns, communication of information, appearance and maintenance of the household, and clients' well-being.

Strengths:

  • good follow-through in getting the care needed as prescribed by health care providers
  • staff perform medication administration to the client/team members' satisfaction
  • staff provide an enjoyable home environment
  • clients receive enough personal attention from staff
  • staff are well-trained and professional

We also received numerous positive comments. Below is a sampling of the feedback:

"Very impressed with how the staff handle clients' significant behaviors and provide a safe and consistent environment."

"My client is a young man I had very limited options for whose ability to maintain and progress in any community setting seemed very minimal to nonexistent. He has been safe and is progressing far beyond any expectations I could ever have. I couldn't be more pleased with the service."

"Very satisfied with how well the staff know the client? able to communicate with him? use sign language."

"Your program is very much appreciated and needed for the more difficult MI population. You provide services other providers can't/won't and the consumers live a more enriched life because of your caring work. Thank you!"

Quality Improvement Plan

Though the vast majority of survey responses were positive, RSI identified areas to target for quality improvement. Each program implements improvement strategies, which are reviewed to ensure progress is being made.

Opportunities for Improvement:

  • satisfaction with housemates
  • sense of social connection and interaction within the community as a result of RSI services
  • improved sense of independence as a result of RSI services
